Year 9 & 10 maths tutoring — NSW Stage 5
Stage 5 is where the HSC is won or lost. Claritute makes Years 9 and 10 clear — trigonometry, quadratics, surface area, financial maths and more — and builds the solid foundation senior maths stands on.
Free for 7 days, then $25/month.
The highest-leverage maths years
By Year 9 and 10, maths splits into pathways and the content that feeds straight into the HSC arrives — trigonometry, non-linear graphs, quadratics, surface area and volume, financial mathematics. Marks here shape which senior course a student can take, so clarity now pays off for years.
Claritute covers Stage 5 the way it should be taught: every concept drawn, every worked example completed, then practised. It is mapped to the NSW syllabus, and because Stage 5 is the foundation the HSC is built on, closing gaps now — with the free Gap Finder — is the highest-leverage maths work a family can do before senior school.

3 lessonsWhy families choose Claritute
Find the missing block — fast
A short diagnostic pinpoints exactly which earlier skill is causing the trouble, then builds the plan around it. Foundations first; confidence follows.
Then it’s their turn — every time
Every concept is drawn, not described — 800+ original diagrams — and each worked example hands the pen back with a matching question and a self-check.
Built and taught by Angelo Hanna
Every lesson is written, checked and taught by a registered NSW teacher and mapped to the NSW K–10 syllabus — so home lines up with school. Not scraped, not outsourced.

Frequently asked questions
What is Stage 5 maths in NSW?
Stage 5 is Years 9 and 10 of the NSW Mathematics K–10 syllabus. It covers algebraic techniques, equations, linear and non-linear relationships, functions and graphs, indices and surds, Pythagoras and trigonometry, area, surface area and volume, financial mathematics, data analysis, probability, and — in the higher pathway — polynomials and logarithms.
Does Claritute prepare my child for the HSC?
Claritute covers Years 3–10, up to and including Stage 5. It does not teach the Year 11–12 HSC courses themselves — but Stage 5 is the foundation those courses are built on. Going into Year 11 with Stage 5 solid is the single biggest predictor of HSC maths success, and that is exactly what Claritute secures.
Do you cover trigonometry and quadratics?
Yes — Pythagoras and trigonometry is one of the most thoroughly covered areas of the library, and quadratics sit within the equations and non-linear relationships topics, each taught step by step with diagrams.
What about the Year 10 pathways (Standard vs Advanced)?
The library spans both the core Stage 5 outcomes and the higher-pathway topics (such as polynomials and logarithms), so it suits students heading toward Standard, Advanced or Extension senior courses. The Gap Finder helps identify which level a student is genuinely ready for.
Is there a free trial?
Yes — 7 days free with full access to every Stage 5 lesson, practice exams and the Gap Finder. After that it is $25 a month for the whole Years 3–10 library.
